idk, we have a lot of (recent) examples of companies continuing production of games even though it was clearly a doomed endeavor and couldn't possibly make back its bloated budget, to the detriment of everyone involved. I can't fault them for nipping this in the bud.

NetEase definitely sucks but this game has also been in development for a while and with the extra budget needed, it definitely feels like there has been some sort of mismanagement. I really hope the game sees the light of day though, it’d be unfortunate if the whole thing went up in smoke.

The way no one knows how to put games out within a reasonable time frame needs to be fixed so badly. NetEase can suck a big fat one, but ANY publisher not already tricked into thinking this is normal would get cold feet.
