How AI is changing the way I work as a developer
I went from hand-writing every line to letting agents generate 80% of my code. Here's what actually changed, and what junior devs need to hear.
AI is powerful. But AI can be scary...
How do we evolve as developers ?
I took some time to write down my thoughts to hopefully help some fellow developers get through this !

Two-panel comic comparing technology use: left shows a stick figure trapped inside a blue screen ("How Technology Is..."), right shows a figure freely holding a small device ("How It Should Be"). By @instachaaz, Kagi branded.
Technology should serve you, not trap or burden you.

If youβre around and we cross paths, come say hi! Always happy to meet people from my network, chat about open source, tech, or just grab a quick beer πΊ (because yeah, we all know what FOSDEM is really about π).
See you there! π

I'm sad I don't speak Spanish at all to be honest, the talks look really interesting. I also loved the last year main stage design, it looks like the team behind the conference is putting a lot of effort into the organization.

On November 28, I was at the @reactadvanced.gitnation.org Conference in London as a representative of @forkit.community. I really enjoyed this day of conference around React and the web ecosystem, so I decided to write an article about it!

I mostly use the Git Fork GUI for that. Since I started using Zed, I havenβt had any major conflicts to handle directly in a text editor or IDE.

The more I use @zed.dev, the more productive I feel compared to using VS Code.
It just feels quicker for most of the operations.

pnpm astro add @bearstudio/astro-typed-routes
Using π @astro.build but frustrated that links are not typed? Having a lot of internal 404?
Search no more, I have created a small tool to generate routes from your Astro project and plug it to lunalink (another project of mine) to enjoy typed routes and avoid 404.

pnpm is the best package manager for protection against supply chain attacks (and it has the best DX overall).
They disabled postinstall a long time ago, the main attack vector.
Now theyβve added the minimumReleaseAge option to ignore new versions for, say, a day.
