Hurtak recently filed to run for mayor in 2027. Council member Young, who has filed to run for her seat, was not aware of any changes with her planned ride-a-longs.

At the end of today’s meeting Council member @lynnhurtak.com shared that the mayor had told her she’s no longer allowed to tour/visit/ride-a-long with city staff during β€œcampaign season.” Which is a new policy. Chair Clendenin motioned to request mayor to rescind policy; passed 6-0 Carlson absent.

Bob Buckhorn’s mayoral PAC has more than $1.4 millionβ€”and most of it comes from development and investment interests The two-time mayor defended his big money connections and use of CRA funds to subsidize development, saying β€˜I would do it again 10 times over every day of the week.’

And second, took the opportunity to add interactive charts to the site for this piece, also from Jasmin, looking at the PAC setup for former Mayor Bob Buckhorn as he plots another run for city hall.
