But thanks to the #MicrosoftTeams Live Caption with Translation I can follow it pretty good. You or the organizer do require a Teams Premium or M365 Copilot license support.microsoft.com/en-us/office... #WeekITtip #Microsoft365
I'm currently in a community event from Workplace Ninjas Denmark www.meetup.com/wpninjasdk/e... And they are obviously speak a lot of Danish, which NOT the same as Dutch 😉
I will cover key techniques and strategies that protect your organization's incoming and outgoing mail flow. A topic dear to my heart and is unfortunately something does not have the attention it should.

The image shows a small historical room furnished in an 18th‑century style. At the center is a wooden writing desk with a polished surface, accompanied by two upholstered chairs—one positioned behind the desk and one in front of it. The chairs have wooden frames and patterned fabric, suggesting a formal or period‑appropriate design. The floor is covered by a richly colored, ornate rug featuring intricate geometric and floral motifs. Mounted prominently on the wall above the desk is a large vertical scroll or banner. It displays a well‑known passage from the United States Declaration of Independence in bold, decorative lettering. The text emphasizes the phrases “created equal,” “unalienable Rights,” and “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” Below the quote, the banner attributes the passage to the Declaration of Independence, dated 1776. The room’s walls are painted in a muted, warm tone, and the lighting is soft, giving the space a museum‑like atmosphere. The overall setting appears curated to evoke the environment of an early American statesman’s study or a historically significant meeting room. The furniture arrangement, the preserved style, and the prominently displayed founding‑era text all contribute to a sense of reverence and historical reflection.
Currently in the Teylers Museum in Haarlem, The Netherlands and I stumbled upon a quote from the US Declaration of Independence.
Felt a need to share this...

This is a must watch video IMHO. It's long, but you should watch every second from the beginning to the end!

Yes, some things should've been fixed months or years back, but every experienced IT specialist knows how it goes.
The only "irritation" I have is that this is the third time something got changed by the Exchange Team HOURS before an important meeting on breaking changes deadlines. COME ON! 😁
I'm working with some customers who will be glad that this deadline has been delayed, there's a lot of legacy cleanup going on with Exchange (Server) related to all sorts of things especially #security. Giving more time will help those orgs deal with all of those changes in a more relaxed way.
Several hours ago the #MSExchange Team posted an update on the #SMTP AUTH Basic #Authentication timeline. To summarize: the original date of disabling the option of March 2026 is now delayed to H2 2027 for existing tenants. Newly created tenants will have to deal with this from December 2026.
Comic-style panel featuring Microsoft’s Clippy, the animated paperclip assistant, with expressive eyes and raised eyebrows. Clippy stands on the left, speaking to a Formula 1 driver in a bright red race car on the right. The driver wears a red helmet and suit, gripping the steering wheel. A speech balloon above Clippy reads: “I’m seeing you are trying to win Formula 1. Do you need assistance?” The background is beige with a textured, newspaper-like feel. The style is cartoonish and lighthearted, with clean lines and bold colors.
Mhh, Consumer Copilot actually did a fine job with this image creation! I wouldn't be surprised they did some backend optimizing before the press release. 🤔
I trained myself to use the UPN above the down level (samaccountname) format e.g username@domain,com vs domain\username. But there have been a few times when authentication failed because I used the wrong one. Try the other format before diving further in troubleshooting #WeekITtip #Microsoft
RIGHT?!
One #IT related observation from 2025: do not underestimate the importance of "on-premises" infra know-how.
Whether it's to fully offboard to the cloud, exit from the cloud or something in between: I still find value in having years of knowledge & experience with #legacy systems. Or is it just me?
Day 24 of #ITAdvent. And this concludes yet another run. I hope you found some usefull tips, I had a nasty cold so that might have had an impact. In any case, happy holidays and see you in the next year! And yes, I haven't forgotten that #MSExchange and Start-of-authority blog post ;-)
Day 23 of #ITAdvent. When I design, licensing is integral. Knowing what capability or #license is present in which bundle\add-on is important for cost estimates. A big help is the frequently updated #Microsoft365 Enterprise plan comparison table. Download PDF here: go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?Li...

Day 21 of #ITAdvent. From February 2026, #MicrosoftTeams will remove #EXIF #metadata from shared photo's, which can include location. Good move as #Purview #DLP currently cannot use EXIF data in it's policies.
