It wasn’t until I became a dad that I realized I Wanna Be Like You from The Jungle Book is unironically a banger
Best of luck!
If you did go SSG, there’s nothing stopping you from also learning a JS framework. You could post content while you hammer on the custom site and switch it over when it’s ready
IMO it depends on your goal. Is your goal to get a blog up and running ASAP with very little friction? SSG. Is your goal to dive deeper into webdev and the blog is just the means to that end? React, svelte, etc
I wrote a short blog post about this:

This is only my second blog post, so if you have any feedback, please share it!
party loner standing in the corner saying "They don't know I use neovim by the way" while other people dance
Vim motions are to typing as a manual transmission is to driving
Both gamify an otherwise tedious activity
I tend to do the same, but don’t fully understand why. What’s your reasoning?
“false” being truthy strikes again
I may end up doing the same, I guess we’ll see 🤷 Thanks!
What makes you say “not yet”? I’ve done limited research so far and have generally heard “some people have issues” but not much in the way of specifics. My current plan is to just spin it up YOLO-style
Resisting the urge to redo my neovim config…
…again
Any advice for getting started with #nushell? Coming from zsh
How so? I've thought about moving to YT Music, but I'd have to move many many songs and playlists so I only want to do so if it's worth it
vertical integration results in higher ceilings but i never thought to apply this to code + editor
for example the pain of "separation of concerns" is not worth the upsides
but if you include an editor with better navigation abilities in your stack, suddenly it becomes worth it
