How *would* one go about attempting to befriend Argand?
Asking for ..reasons.
Colorful angles and lines.
One of the rare few times I use a ruler in aspects of life other than handyman work.
Upon further reading, it seems I did correctly install the first patch. Forgot that counterpart typically uses the moisture-resistant (typically purple) type in bathrooms, and just looking at reference images (instead of reading, because I already got the breakdown of how to do it) threw me off.
Crap. I used the wrong side.
Gonna learn how to California patch the drywall in the bathroom today.
oh man, nothing like finding a small chocolate bar that fell behind a bunch of stuff in the fridge on a day when you're really dying for some chocolate.
it was a hershey's, so.. kinda mid, but honestly - it was delicious.
A long striped insect tends to its abdomen while clinging to a blue recycle bin.
Interesting bugger dealing with buttstuff on the recycling bin.

uses Joe Satriani's Speed of Light for the mattress surfing scene, which was something discovered late in life while I was going through my wannabe guitar virtuoso phase. His stuff didn't pop up often in mainstream stuff afiak, so that was cool.
I was a kid who liked the seemingly open for interpretation feel to voiceless video games (before learning there are a boatload of additional media for the series I was super into - ie, the Sonic comics and how wild those storyline sometimes got), I enjoyed the SMB movie quite a lot.

Here's hoping they actually remove the branches and I'm not left holding the bag with disposing of them myself. It's happened before.
Well that's super cool.
The tree trimmers showed up at some point without knocking on the door to let me know.
Glad I haven't been running through the house without clothing on or whatever.
Thank you Scrubs for introducing me to Koyaanisqatsi and Philip Glass.
I now have the magical power to point out use of his work in various show/movie soundtracks thus making the people around me shrug in acceptance.
Three traditional ink drawings from a few years ago. Left features a young man with a backwards cap and black clothes. Purple smoke and color. Right is Undyne from Undertale. Bottom is a white Tiger with a blue butterfly surrounded by Tiger Lily flowers
I’ve finished Spring semester this year so I’ll be able to return to making artwork soon :)
My new computer is setup and I’m almost done re-installing all my programs and tools. Slowly, I’ll get back into the flow of things.

Last week's and this week's insomnia-induced colored pencil distractions.. though at this point with the number of finished pieces I've churned out, it might be considered a compulsion of sorts.
Can't focus on much, but this is what I've got.

..though organizing the backyard should be more of a priority if the power company is actually sending someone out to trim the trees. The oak desperately needs it and skirting death from above with massive old branches hanging on by threads dropping on my head while out there has lost its charm.
Potentially have the house to myself for the next 24 or so hours
I joke that it gets unhinged around here when counterpart is gone, but that usually means I just take a nap in the afternoon and find my inspiration to clean house at like 1AM.
..and not feel guilty about eating the last cookies.
Half the battle sometimes is just going to the place.
Fought my deprestression induced agorophobia and found some potential interview pants thanks to the crew at the community free store.
Small victories.
I remember getting home from school sometime in early 2000's and seeing a message a friend left on ICQ insisting I go check out a link.
All Your Base has absolutely lived rent free in my brain since then.
Sigh.. memories.
The go-to barometer of where my mental state currently sits can be measured by whether I can listen to The Fray's How To Save A Life without breaking down.
Ear is blocked up and can't hear well, but there is a woodpecker determined to impress someone -other than me- with his thunderous drumming.
I think he's attempting to drill the weird shop guy across the street's metal storage container.
..and that probably means ditching the blue hair. That makes me mildly sad :<
..that means i gotta go clothes shopping for something business casual soon.
Fingers crossed there's some spring cleaning donations kicking around the thrift stores.
Despite being a dumdum ignoring Daylight Savings Time thus further fudging my already broken sleep schedule, I found a lead and interview opening on a job opportunity that isn't retail hellscape.
Somehow my main Sim became a celebrity. Half the dudes in the town are simping after her, especially this one guy who is reportedly married.
I haven't checked the 'family inventory' tab, but she been getting hella gifts in the mail. Could probably decorate an entire house at this point.
Things are impossibly difficult in so many ways right now, and it's tough to see anything positive at the end of it.
Also, I think I might be experiencing the dumb stuff that comes w/life's latter half of being female, and let me tell you - being prone to depression and anxiety, it's awful.
The guy started off nice and sweet but when I refused to give him a free bottle of our most expensive sunscreen, he began yelling and insulting, trying to reach into the pass-thru window.
My coworkers just hid in the back as I tried to diffuse the situation - one I'd never dealt with before.
