I made lots of updates to my website.
- Added system settings with a new light mode (previously was dark mode-only)
- UI sounds (subtle, quiet sounds for button presses, navigation, carousels etc). Can be turned off in settings.
- System Info panel for seeing browser/network and display details.

Happy to hear any feedback, suggestions, feature requests, bug reports!
Looks awesome !
I got one yesterday , and got lots last year.
Happy new year Sindre! Thanks for all the work you do on Supercharge - I love it !
Invoker commands ! Super awesome. I love building fast, accessible components without JavaScript and this helps a lot. Next Iβd love to see support for appearance: base-select for the select element :-)
related question; would you happen to know if there are any plans for Chrome to natively support <input type="checkbox" switch>? (I hope so!)
I use proton and like it. What makes you think itβs a little sketchy?
The black dog number one listened artist on Apple Music for 2025
Ha - just seen my Apple Music Replay thing - The Black dog number one listened artist :-) enjoy the 1p royalty payment - donβt spend it at all at once!
@ntotten.com hi Nathan! thanks for all your work on the Prettier VS Code extension. Good to see a new version will be coming soon. Is the 12.x beta going to be available via VS Code marketplace as a pre-release?

You did a great job with the walking and talking :-) was very nice to meet you today!
I liked the video, but I prefer your blog posts. Being able to read /follow in my own time in silence anywhere is just a much better format for consuming info like this.
The link in the post does a good job explaining the many issues. primer.style/accessibilit...
βYouβre absolutely rightβ lol
Yep, I just installed the iOS 26 beta as I hate the transparent Liquid Glass UI so much. π
They are simply giving pubs the option to stay open later - why are you opposed to that ?
Yeah, you can have the Safari Tech Preview installed alongside the default one.

Command and commandFor - yay - my number one most wanted feature ! :-)
π Great suggestion. I also recommend Supercharge.
Animated GIFs are a terrible format created a very long time ago (1989?) with huge file sizes, limited color palette. Itβs really best to avoid using them altogether I think.
Yes I think so, but thatβs a feature flag which is off by default at the moment - hopefully itβll be enabled by September! :-)
I realize this is an OS level thing rather than Safari specific but please pass on feedback. I liked how they were close to looking like Bootstrap ones before christianoliff.com/blog/using-s...
Iβm generally happy with all the recent features added to safari (svg fav icons were on my wish list for a while!) but I really, really hate the new default switches in iOS 26. The thumbs are too long. If you have a native switch on a webpage itβs going to look totally different from iOS 18 to 26.
A new version of HTMLHint :-)
Sadly, not even the latest VS Code recognises this as a valid HTML tag. :-(
Youβre not alone in that thinking - www.sarasoueidan.com/blog/css-car... is a great read about many of the issues
(Chrome on iOS uses Safaris browser engine remember)
Unfortunately Safari does not currently support the CSS anchor positioning API - so thatβs why it isnβt working. Hopefully Apple will add support soon!
