@xgranade I'd suggest at least using 100 bytes to look great everywhere: https://www.swyx.io/css-100-bytes, Xess Classic is based on that: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Xe/Xess/refs/heads/master/classic/xess.css
If you're using SvelteKit remote functions, you might want to patch asap.
@swyx.io did a neat TLDR on HN: news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4663...
(i dont check in here enough) thanks so much for having me! happy thanksgiving!! are you attending NeurIPS?

we'll have #ElasticON SF next week. I'm especially excited to have convinced @swyx.io to join us for the closing keynote on "the year agents ate search" β let's see how much we can all agree or disagree here :D
www.elastic.co/events/elast... (and we still have a couple of free slots available)
A large presentation screen dominates the image, hanging in a modern glass-walled auditorium with tall windows, greenery outside, and wood-paneled ceiling beams above. Two presenters stand on a circular red carpet beneath the screen. On the screen (pink slide): At the top: βThe Skills ecosystemβ followed by βEnterprise & Team Skills.β Two large rounded rectangles appear side by side: β’ Left rectangle: light pink with a simple line icon of a briefcase. Beneath it: βFortune 100 Org-wide Skills.β β’ Right rectangle: light pink with a line icon of a laptop cursor on a screen. Beneath it: βEnterprise FinTech for 1000s of SWEs.β Bottom-left corner of the slide shows the Anthropic logo. Presenters: On the left, a person with shoulder-length dark hair, glasses, a gray sweater, light pants, and sneakers. On the right, a person with short dark hair wearing a dark gray sweater and black pants. They stand in front of the screen facing the audience. The setting is bright and spacious, with natural outdoor light filtering through the glass behind them.
A large presentation slide fills most of the image, displayed in a modern glass-walled auditorium. Two presenters stand beneath it on a circular red carpet. Slide content (pink background): At the top, bold text reads: βSkills are a concrete step towards continuous learningβ Below is a rising curved line from left to right, marked with three labeled milestones: β’ DAY 1 β a small red icon with a white starburst. Text underneath: βNo skillsβ βIntelligentβ β’ DAY 5 β the same icon, slightly larger. Text underneath: βA few skillsβ βCapableβ β’ DAY 30 β the icon again, larger and placed at the top-right of the curve. Text underneath: βMany skillsβ βUsefulβ Bottom-left corner of the slide shows the Anthropic logo. Presenters: On the left, a person with glasses, a gray sweater, light pants, and sneakers holding a small device. On the right, a person with short dark hair, wearing a muted blue-gray sweater and dark pants, also holding a clicker. Behind them, tall glass windows reveal trees, greenery, and interior hallways.
two views from Anthropic
1. Claude Skills are for collaboration
2. Skills are for continual learning

This is my attempt to explain why, after kind of dying out last year, DevRel is So Back, thanks to prompting from
@phillvdm.bsky.social
and
@pedramnavid.com

Host of Latent Space and AI engineering master @swyx.io is joining us at Sync Conf 2025. Tastemaker, product builder, and voice behind AI Engineering Summit.
give u 6 months im sure stuff will bubble up
Following on with more info for @swyx.io
@mackuba.eu maintains sdk.blue
The ATProto Touchers Discord discord.atprotocol.dev is great for all the newest launches & troubleshooting.
Soon @slices.network will be a couple of clicks to make a new backend & aggregator for ATProto data.

pls come speak at AIE whenever u have an AI talk to do!! we are doing AIE Europe in London next April if that's interesting for you!
even critical/negative takes are fine tbh. itd be a dream for both me and ben to host you at our conference.
haha yeah but i have about 80k users of my "HN for AI" usecase that i can immediately seed it with
came here from HN. love your posts so much man.
i'm interested in building a "new HN" on atproto. went to the website. disappointed to find that there's no developer info about it lol.

It seems like the next step up from llmstxt.org
I think the usefulness really depends on if you want repeatable output from your LLM or if you use the LLM to build repeatable process (like terraform for config).
Fascinating to hear evolution of behavioural engineering in the context of generative AI models. Always useful to hear what @swyx.io is up to and their views.
