There's something deeply obscene and broken about the fact that Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth are bombing elementary schools in an illegal war of aggression, and there's still a sense among the opposition that it has to be explained in terms of gas prices in order to get American voters to care.

So if you get an opportunity to stop by the president's gas station when he's seeing it at $2 a gallon... definitely fill up "
there's a lot going on right now but did you know a massive amount of the world's fertilizer flows through the middle east, and did you know that that fertilizer needs to be shipped to the us *right now* for planting season, and uh did you know we are at war with iran

Disheartening to see anyone taken seriously who says US (or California) oil production protects consumers from Iran war impact. Producers argue world market sets the price. Correct! Oil price reflects value, not proximity, as recent gasoline price jumps show.

I wish people would get as upset about innocent civilians suffering from Iran to Israel as they do about gas prices.
Using up some of the limited revenue we have at the very top on tax cuts is not what we should be doing. That money should be used on things like child care, pre-k, housing, food, health care, etc., or hell, I dunno, reversing Trump's historic cuts to SNAP and Medicaid.
Not on tax cuts.

The costs of this Iran war debacle will likely be more than the cost of extending the ACA health insurance subsidies.

This seems, uh, exactly the opposite of what we need in aging society, many people with mobility issues and rising disability rates. It's ageism and ableism rolled into one.
