I've had two that survived social media through high school. Unless you have full control and use it, you would be absolutely shocked with what your kids see.

Drugs, sex, extreme bullying, marketing, conspiracies, inappropriate teachers, etc.

It is not healthy, safe, or necessary. SM corps failed

150 Years on Call: Three Volunteer Fire Chiefs Three Volunteer Fire Chiefs Reflect on Service, Community, and the Fires That Shaped a Town

Before pagers, before smartphones, before dispatch centers, firefighters relied on a simple but unmistakable signal: the siren.

Email is obsolete but we still use it.

Dumb, stupid and deadly. That's what this decision is.

This is why we trust government less. Zero engagement on a key safety tool.

The citation you seek is in the cyanide in this smoke. One breath, and you're down.

I know as a firefighter I've needed a second exit. Good luck hanging out the window!

A 30-metre aerial costs about $2m and takes 10 minutes minimum to arrive for you.

List of nightclub fires - Wikipedia

You don't need stairs, you need safe exits. If fire or smoke blocks an exit you have seconds.

As evidence, these are mostly single story buildings.

I've been in buildings on fire and know if they didn't have an alternative exit, they would've died or had to jump out windows from a height they could die.

Fire doesn't care how many sets of stairs there are. Neither does toxic smoke. Or people who block exits un/intentionally.

Or certain death.

Less fires today, thanks to better fire prevention. More deaths due to faster burning fires due to construction and household materials being more volatile.

Look at how many people jump ont of residential windows in videos. You want that in multi-story towers? Grenfell Tower?

Sorry, you've been repealed until there is an apology for the stupidity you pulled this week.

You have lost your rights, sir.

Their "very high bar" needs to be lowered to an acceptable level. OpenAI hid information that eventually led to killed children.

In the House of Commons, no member is introduced by party. They are introduced as the member of "riding." Party is a construction for power. Parties are not above MPs, or at least they shouldn't be. MPs have a right to choose what is best for their constitutients (voters).

Have you looked at the borders for the Halifax Regional Municipality (largest in Canada) and Kamloops? They are unusually large compared to the population density.

Halifax I'd also put as second-tier as it is the largest city east of Montreal and a multi-provincial hub.

It's a good conversation to have. That includes acknowledging forestry practices in this province have contributed to more extreme wildfires. They need to first acknowledge their role, before joining the solution.

This has changed in the past 10 years. Conservatives always dominated the oldest Canadians.

I'm curious how much my memory is correct, as I doubt that was in every province. 😆 ...Alberta, how are you doing voting the same for 80 years? 🤣

Result of a modified, lifted vehicle that could not see beside or in front of them.

Nothing will change from this, sadly. I've watched as people have run over pedestrians in similar modified trucks and SUVs. Noting these lifted rigs also rollover easily by hitting a low shoulder.
