It’s table waxing day!

I try to set aside one day every March-ish to re-wax our Geek Chic (RIP) table that we bought back in 2014 (I think?) and was at the time the largest purchase either of us had ever made.

It hasn’t seen as much gaming use lately, but maybe that will change this year?

Actually going to try to keep up with F1 for the first time this season after only really paying attention to it via posts by others for the last few years

I over-weaponized the “DHD” part of my brain for work, and part of that involved ditching my routine which made the “Au” part of my brain really really angry.

Didn’t realize how wiped I was until we were at a school event and I couldn’t handle it and just walked home

Today fully fried my brain and I don’t really know why

Turns out this was in part because I mistakenly bought a privacy screen protector that was seriously fucking up my vision

I’ve never actually played Fire Red/Leaf Green. I played Red and then Gold and then didn’t play another Pokémon game until I bought a launch day 3DS and Pokémon Black

Also my kiddo named her rival MY trainer name so… this will be fun

It is very weird how… not weird the Scrubs reboot is. It actually appears to be almost the perfect reboot where the show feels the same in terms of pacing and vibes but the characters have actually evolved offscreen and weren’t just frozen in time

I'm sure its because I've basically never watched hockey, but it sure does seem clunky compared to everything else I've watched on ice this month.

Again, I'm 100% of the mind that this is a "me" problem, but every bit of hockey just looks like people sliding and fumbling their way to victory.

My knowledge (or lack thereof) of hockey was forged in the fire of Wayne Gretzky’s 3D Hockey on the N64 so this 3 on 3 thing seems great.

They should really try shooting the puck so hard the net catches on fire though. That always seemed to work well for me
