Or maybe 'allowed' isn't the best way to say it. More like, that's who's in charge for the time being. Shui tends to be the default front unless someone else wants to say/do something (or is being encouraged to)

For us, it's generally intentional, but we don't typically fully dissociate anyway. Our situation is more like all being in a car together and who's driving changes. We all experience the same trip, though. When someone fronts, they're allowed to make decisions and communicate for that time.

We can't properly speak for plurals in general since situations are different for everyone. For some, switching happens automatically and can't be controlled. It could be in reaction to certain emotions, stimuli, or other triggers. Others can do it on purpose.

We have pretty good control over switching and the schedule we have is basically one that we all agreed upon. If there's some sort of issue and whoever's scheduled to stream that day won't be able to front, we would just have to cancel that day's stream.

It's made us reluctant to raid new people because we don't know what's going to happen, and some of us might be made uncomfortable. It's frustrating, and I feel like our channel can't really grow much because of our unique situation

It's just "thanks for the raid, ZGSystem" without an understanding of who raided them. And worse is when they have that clip player responding to raids that shows a clip of the wrong member, so now their entire community gets the wrong idea of who's there right now

At best, people are confused ("you're just playing different characters randomly, right?") And it's hard for us to individually make connections because most other streamers just see the channel name and never get to know us individually

We used to do the latter, but it put too much burden on Shui while also not giving any time for others to play games, which is why we all got Live2D models and take turns streaming...

But it makes it hard to have a channel identity, and we don't think it's caught on at all

Being a plural Vtuber the way we do is pretty tricky. Most systems either just have a single avatar to represent the collective and just let whoever is in front do the stream similar to handling the IRL body or just 1 member streams with a character that represents that specific alter

The world grows darker, and everyone is too distracted by lunacy to do anything about it

But the number of people screaming absurd claims with 0 evidence at people who are going to write them off as crazy and not worth listening to...
And the number of people on the left fighting with other people on the left so nothing gets done to stop the right...

The goal is to make that side look like raving lunatics and tank credibility.

At least, we hope that's the case, and there aren't this many people who actually have lost the ability to think and speak rationally

We don't want to sound like conspiracy theorists, but we've gotten the sense over the past couple of years that there are people acting as though they're on the side of good while spewing insane narratives hysterically and encouraging others to do likewise in an effort to undermine
