Update to the "Setlist Momentum" concept I introduced the other day on @allthings.umphreys.com. Now, instead of just looking over the last two years, we're weighting more recent performances. That also lets me show a trend (heating, cooling, stable). My hope is to bring this to @phish.net too!

Today is release #400 of this platform - what used to be @songfishapp.com but was forked specifically for @umphreys.com to became UMbase - see umbase.umphreys.com.

For @phish.com fans, consider songs like Magilla, highway to Hell, Cold as Ice, Take the A Train, etc. They were played often, but are retired* and I'd argue it's unhelpful in some stats to see those songs listed. "Setlist Momentum" sidesteps that.

Today, I introduced a new concept called "Setlist Momentum" to ATU @umphreys.com. Momentum gives a better indicator of how frequently a song is played over the last 2 years, far more useful than "ever." It's a better representation of what's being played THESE DAYS, and helpful for song chasers.

Hell's Itch was one of the first Gizz songs I really loved. I feel like an early Gizz explorer but a late hardcore fan, b/c it took me a long time to "get it." But Hell's Itch was in my rotation from the 1st time I heard it, which was almost immediately upon release. Happy it finally appeared live!
