Honored to have sponsored this podcast from @thedailytism.com -- please do check out the complete season and learn something about your autistic fellow humans, while having a good/unhinged laugh along the way...
Season 3 of peopleWatching is finally rolling out on youtube-- watch episode 1 now! My #1 artistic advice is "make what you wish existed," so here's the kind of show i wish existed, which now, in fact, exists, thanks to endless work from many great people-- see it here:

Learn about autistic sensory issues, via a very amusing podcast! Then do me a favor and *never* walk around whistling, which sensorily disrupts whatever song is playing on a loop in my head and feels like THE END OF THE WORLD lol
Here's a comic i made once about communication differences-- when people have something to say but they live on others' terms. And sometimes what you create is your preferred voice. I'll always relate to this one.
This is a really valuable discussion for anyone mired in the self-doubt of life (raises hand...), check it out! So happy to be sponsoring this show.
Reminder!
stop saying asperger's, it's not a thing, there's a whole bad history to it but even aside from that people keep pronouncing it 'assburgers' and i cannot stop laughing when that happens
So pleased to be sponsoring this season of the podcast Autistic Women Oversharing! Definitely check it out, and also follow @thedailytism.com for all your autism satire needs! (my own autism satire needs are SUBSTANTIAL)
Today on Autistic Women Oversharing, we're joined by our brilliant social media manager Sarah Barnard to talk about our past jobs. Nothing can prepare you for this episode save for a Geiger counter, a falafel costume, and... a couple of amorous hamsters? Find us on all good podcast apps!
loved @winstonrowntree.bsky.social's π§΅taking @inkcanada.bsky.social up on shouting-out for an amazing cast and team for S3 of multi awarded #peopleWatching regardless of whether webseries voice actors are considered for CSAs this year! Love them in S3 #Canada www.primevideo.com/detail/peopl...
Yeah, definitely fine by me!
no worries, definitely understandable lol...!
and nobody could be more committed and talented and easy to direct than Natalia Bushnik. As are they all just so amazing to work with, and i could never separate their contributions from the show itself-- we're so lucky to have found this cast. Anyone looking for really good actors-- here they are!!
Christian nailed his first voice role; Jon is SO funny and i love writing for his voice; Ermina is the kind of actor you cast after about three seconds of their audition; Scott Garland is literally the nicest guy ever; Jonathan is a dream addition and is also the voice of Barney the dinosaur!;
Hannan was deservedly CSA-nominated for S1; Bracken produces as well and is a Hero; Harrison is an amazing actor/writer/advocate; Andy nails everything on the first take; Julius is still on the show despite his character being dead because he's great; Kate came out of retirement just for us on S3!;
Would love to! This is our peopleWatching season 3 cast (image from credits, w/character art), most of whom started in S1, and they're the most wonderful and talented group you could hope for. I can write whatever i want, but people will only care if it's being delivered by really good actors!
FRITZI IS SURPRISED WHE SHE FINDS NANCY IN A DRAWER OF THE DRESSER AND SHE IS COVERED UP, NANCY LOOKS AT FRITZI AND SAYSβ¦ I CANβT
I CANβT
Re-live peopleWatching Season 1 today, and receive the gift of being distracted from reality for like 75 minutes! Actually the show repeatedly refers to reality and how fucked we all are, but it's at least pretty funny..!

Been at this over 20 years, it's important you have your own site, I have seen publishers come and go, promises broken and sites burnt, others castles (sites) will sink and you will have to rebuild when they do. Only your own castle will last you a lifetime.
Normally i'd say myself, but the Academy removed webseries voice actors from awards consideration this year, so i find it very hard to care about the CSAs now that the wonderful cast of my show can't even get nominated.
See the particular effectiveness (and courage) of organized nonviolent resistance with what's happening in Minnesota: *anyone* can participate, young and old alike, and so they do; worldwide media attention is gained; it's very clear who the antagonists are, so nobody watching can pretend otherwise.
Lol close enough... Honestly i only know about it thanks to the movie Drive My Car, though i have since seen the actual play as well.
I think mine is that whole final monologue from Uncle Vanya

Oversharing is caring!
Martin Luther King Jr., from "Where Do We Go From Here"
Five panels of a webcomic. Text: And just because you missed it doesn't mean it's good... Image: A road splitting in a wood, like that Robert Frost poem. Text: it means you believe that there IS good, Image: Long-haired person in tatty clothes standing at bus stop in autumn (the trees are bare). Text: ...and if it's not here, then it must be somewhere else. Image: Long-haired person is on the bus now, looking out of the window. Image: The bus proceeds down a road, away from the viewer, autumn leaves on the road around it. Text: So there must be a road. Image: The bus has gone out of sight. The road and the trees and the failling autumn leaves remain.
Every time I go back to Subnormality (usually to find Everything's Better With Cheese) I end up rereading old favourites.

Count to Ten is about choice and yearning, and these panels still make me cry every time I read them.
Thank you, @winstonrowntree.bsky.social
Thank *you* for reading!!
