I used to play this so much~ Was playing a bit on a private server last year, maybe I'll play a round again soon...
youtu.be/97Q-iSX1fic NEW VIDEO! This time I took a look at comparatively modern kusoge. Final Sword, a game you can, for some reason, play on your Playstation 5.
Everything looks wrong, nothing makes any sense and marriage is difficult. I hope you enjoy my suffering!
If you’re a fan, it’s a good time to let them know you won’t pay for AI translations

*yeeeees~*
I'm gonna be honest, I've only played Lunacy and not (The) Mansion of Hidden Souls, so I probably am missing something and should play those...
Faaaair~~ At least this one's beatable in an afternoon!
You've got some Sega Saturn homework to do!!
"I didn't catch the name, friend." "I didn't throw it, friend."
"I want you to tell me about the City of Moons." "BAH!" *slams door*
Got the butterfly in for a simple Lunacy cosplay for Game On Expo coming up!
Not expecting many to recognize it, but maybe I can ask people about the City of Moons in a monotone voice at every booth until someone tells me about the Crimson Earth or shows me their butterfly collection
Just play on easy and take your time getting headshots, you'll have a great time!
Naruhodo...
Please don't let my nonsense throw off your studies!
It's like Sega's Ancient Roman, except the music actually works, the art is decent, the plot is an absolute whiplash, and the combat is pressing A to win but sometimes with fighting game inputs. It's a great time~
Mission Failed Successfully!
I remember you giving this advice a long time ago and have tried to internalize it, I greatly appreciate your translation perspective! I still have much to learn and I may have made some odd calls now and then in Ancient Roman, but I still stand by those choices and am proud how it came out
Instead, we'll probably focus on free essay responses to whatever works seem interesting as my actual writing in Japanese could use work. Hoping that can help me overcome the mental wall (also mentally stop translating everything in my head, making me go slower lol)
Hi Aria, Here's the recap of our lesson yesterday and homework! Lesson Content: We worked on some reading comprehension questions together to see if we can find any patterns in the mistakes you make. Unfortunately (or Fortunately?) we got the same answers so we couldn't reach any conclusions!
So I don't think I mentioned outside a reply, but I started private Japanese lessons so I actually pass the N1 next time!
...Unfortunately when we tried to find my issue with the reading section I only got 20/60 on, I aced the previous exam questions...
えっと…テヘペロ?
If you feel that use of AI art assets at any stage of the process is an automatic out, but ChatGPT translations are fine if they're "checked" by people, it might be worth asking yourself why that is. Because it sounds a whole lot like valuing the work of translators less than other creatives to me.
I say this as a professional who came up from fan translation and has friends at Sega who will likely never get to work on this officially: when you fan translate ANYTHING that was previously untranslated, you have a deep, heavy responsibility in setting people's first and typically only impression.
Can always enjoy some organic kusoge with Ancient Roman or Airs Adventure~ Or go on a robot-punching adventure with Belzerion!
Time to bypass the javascript and submit around the frontend validation~
It's that two-ply marketing crap, smh
...okay I'm going to give the real answer which is that Leone does in the sequel I never wrote called "The Shadow Behind Me" where it becomes a Lovecraft isekai
I'm sure ryuukishi wouldn't mind
I grabbed one of those tiny wooden guys from a craft store for cheap, was pretty nice for basic blocking being able to see it in person. But yeah, could probably pose 3d models in something easier.
Drawabox was really nice for foundational lessons in shapes too.
I keep going like "after this translation, okay after *this* translation" but I have to accept that will never actually end and I have to make time for both lol
"I'm not sure I'd... eh nevermind."
"Interesting way to have done that."
"...Heh."
"Had a feeling that'd happen."
"That came out of left field..."
Also partially related, but if you ever want to make any writer squirm, just slide into their DMs or comment section and give scene-by-scene commentary as you read their story
Bonus points if you tease it out over a long period
Was getting bummed out from all the anti-trans news lately that it made me want to work on the trans escapist fantasy story I've been poking on and off for a while now as the desire to hide in fantasy feels pretty strong right now.
Managed to get 500 words into ch 3, first progress in months :O
"Hey wait, it said 'Dynamite Drink' on the label!"
"THAT'S NOT GOOD!"
"What's with this now?"
"UWAAA!"
Rare -2, 3D models in VNs are peak, and we're in a terrible timeline without them
