Someone on my team just said they always tell Claude to βreview pull requests like you are Vinnyβ. New complement unlocked
OSS outside GH is where itβs at
Switching to employers whose git forge lives elsewhere makes me look like I died a few times on these graphs
I hope when real AGI is achieved it joins in on the sick burns of lame ass slop
Been using the v14 alpha since it was released, excellent work here!
Terminal output of Vitest's test run results. The results contain error message of asynchronous resource leaking. Code block pointing to a fetch call that is missing await.
In the next version of Vitest you can track leaking asynchronous resources via `--detect-async-leaks` option! Available in v4.1.0-beta.4 release. π
(notice missing await in the example)
An OSS territory country continent or planet?
Indeed it is for US and Canada (for now), itβs only three developers building this, so we havenβt grown beyond that market just yet π€
Also you donβt even have to sign up to use Pointhound to find flights, itβs free to search (always has been!)
I would love to, but my first born is due in May!
I can offer discounts on premium Pointhound accounts if anyone wants to snipe first class tickets to Europe using credit card points however. Iβll probably be launching a new travel product before the trip too.
I knew it was a bot because rather than a discussion about the problem it just kept making my proposed changes immediately.
I had a similar interaction with them on a Vercel issue of mine it tried to fix.
It was trying to get feedback from me to merge the change, acting as if I had the power to review or merge it.
A file named βgenerateAllifiateLink.tsβ
When you spend half an hour trying to find a file, and an LLM canβt find the file, is it a good time to start crying?
Iβve typed this an ungodly amount of times into my browser while working on it
Fortunately this varies from place to place, sometimes itβs the opposite and the maintainers are very active and super helpful. Hard to tell which one youβre going to get ahead of time, but I recommend looking at project activity, how recently changes were merged, and what changes are merged.
I had to do this recently, and it was extremely painful. I had to do the first one manually, and then let CI publishing take the reigns from that point. Of course none of this was documented or even discussed online.
You are in good company. They merged my first vue PR ever today!
I tried to fight this fight recently, and failed. Itβs a sticky issue
I want the whole thing to be nuked from orbit.
But now that I got that out of the way:
- I wish version data could be grouped by canary vs stable etc
- publishing wasnβt practically identical to carrying the one ring to rule them all to Mount Doom
πββοΈ so ... for reasons:
I would love to know people's frustrations with:
- the current npmjs.com
- admin user flows on npm web ui (and cli, locally)
π
I already respected your takes, and didnβt realize I could respect you even harder
Iβve had success with Codex and Claude. Sonnet 4.5 all day though tbh
My favorite LLM feature is taking photos of my glass whiteboard and having it instantly transformed into a digital diagram that I can share, iterate on later, annotate etc.
I have read this a few times, as well as how people prefer CCs multi model approach.
Iβve not seen anyone mixing models across the aisle. Such as using Claude Sonnet 4.5 for most tasks, but then switching to Codex 5.2 for coding. Curious what the results would be. Maybe OpenCode will build it.
same thing that happens if I send a message here, no reply π
To let me DM you, you will need to either modify your chat settings to allow Everyone to send DMs, or follow me
Looks exactly like what happens when someone fails to fold steel rods properly in a forge while blacksmithing
Is there a large and reputable LLM developer survey? Would love to know about code review and other developer lifecycle automation.
How many of you are even planning the project you are working on rather than delegating that task to an agent?
Emails that tell you to respond directly to the email, and then respond by telling you the inbox isnβt monitored and to go down other rabbit holes are the worst
