I want to like all of GT, it has some interesting ideas, but a lot of the execution falls flat on its face. What I find hilarious is season three of Sonic X does the same plot of GT but does a lot more with it.

Sweet

Part of that is because the anime caught up with the manga mid-Namek arc.
But the Android/Cell saga’s pace was so erratic I stopped caring after Cell became Perfect.
I kinda like the Buu saga for how insane it was, but I know I’m in the minority on that.

Hot take: I kinda like Dragon Ball more than Z.
The original felt more like a series of adventures, and those got exciting and sometimes harrowing.
Z I feel peaked with the Freeza/Namek arc.
