Cocktail Recipe:
Rinse chilled rocks glass with absinthe, discard any excess
in a mixing glass:
muddle a sugar cube with 1/2 tsp of water & 4 dashes Peychaud's bitters
add 2.5 oz rye whiskey
add ice
stir 15-20 seconds
strain into prepared glass
express lemon peel over drink
Inspiration: Demandred seems like he would would order a pretentious cocktail, that seems manly. So I thought the Sazerac would be fitting since I see it as a bougier Old Fashioned. Personally, I like an Old Fashioned better, so this is second best just like Demandred.

Cocktail Recipe:
Start by rimming glass with tajin
in a shaker with ice, pour:
2 oz black (dark) rum
4 oz pineapple juice
1 oz cream of coconut
1 oz orange juice
Drizzle of chili oil
shake and then dirty pour (with the ice) into glass
Inspiration: Semirhage's twist on a painkiller. Adding to the traditional painkiller recipe, I added a tajin rim and some chili oil to spice it up and make the cocktail "hurt so good".

Hahahah!! In a seriousness if you don’t have a cocktail smoker, you can just burn some wood chips (or herbs) on a nonflammable surface and turn the glass upside down over it.
It’s definitely worth trying! Mr. Moz didn’t like it but Meg did!!!

Cocktail Recipe:
Smoke the glass
in a shaker without ice, pour:
2 oz blanco tequila
0.25 oz amaro
0.5 oz lime juice
1.5 oz grapefruit juice
2 drops of 20% saline solution
1 oz egg white
dry shake, add ice, shake till cold
remove smoker
strain cocktail
add ice
top with soda
Inspiration: Starting our Forsaken series of cocktails, this twist on a paloma is inspired by Aginor's ability to put things together that shouldn't go together. A paloma with herbal liqueurs, saline, egg white & a smoked glass is an interesting twist on a classic.

add brandied cherry
garnish with burnt rosemary
Inspiration: While spontaneously bartending over the holidays, I created a funky version of a Manhattan. While Mat might pretend he's a traditional classic fellow, we all know that he'd take a bougie version of a classic cocktail to go with a little lace.
