i hope this election cycle empowers everyone the next time a centrist liberal says to drop pro-trans and pro-immigrant rhetoric to enthusiastically tell them to shut the fuck up

I switched to TP-Link Kasa a few years ago and canβt recommend them enough.
Hardly any reliability issues, fairly inexpensive, and the newer products are Matter-compatible, so should work across Google, Homekit, etc.
Microsoft shoved their AI Copilot into everything in Windows 11. Which lead to an increase in Windows 10 use. So they announced they'd stop support for Windows 10, but its usage was still strong. So they started to put Copilot into Windows 10.
Windows 7 use is surging 5x now.
AI is product poison.
Performance has seemed on par with Safari in my experience. I did ultimately decide to switch back because I preferred Safariβs handling of profiles, but I still go to Orion if I need to use a specific Chrome extension
Have you tried Orion? I feel like it takes the best parts of Safari, but allows for some pretty deep customization (including UI).

Wrote about how living through pure evil feels: strangely hollow and humiliating.
Iβm interested to see how you like Toucanβ¦ I switched to Astro last year and have been loving it
Plugging my own app that I launched earlier this month bobbin.app π
NY Democratic machine genuinely befuddled after the charismatic, talented person with good ideas defeated the sex pest fuck-up with name recognition
A smartphone screen displays a caption generation shortcut with options to select photos, use a cloud model, and copy the response to the clipboard.
π¨ In iOS 26, you can now use the Shortcuts app with Appleβs Cloud model to generate ALT-friendly captions for any photo.
Great for accessible social media posts!

We have gone from the margin of error to the margin of effort.
On the day before the election, we stand on the verge of toppling a political dynasty and winning a city we can afford. But we can only do it with you.

Go to a Brooklyn park at 1pm on a weekday and youβll see multiple nerds walking around like this
I dig this. People are focusing on the βglassβ aspect of this change, but I think βliquidβ (dynamic interactive design) is a bigger deal.

Apple is now allowing any developer to tap into the local AI model on the iPhone β VERY VERY cool, glad they did this, huge for LLM privacy #WWDC25
Woah, Passport is a great idea!
π’ Helm is now available on iOS! Manage your app updates and testers from anywhereβright from your phone.
It also includes Helm Passport, a fun new way to collect new beta users and connect with fellow developers

After several months of design and development, I'm happy to share that I just released my first app to the App Store! Bobbin helps you stay on top of sewing projects, organize your stash of patterns & fabrics, and find inspiration for your next make.
Available now for iOS.

Can definitely relate... I'm in the process of launching my first iOS app, but almost gave up a few months ago because of this.
I ended up organizing my longer-term goals (esp. go-to-market stuff) into projects + tasks in Linear, and felt much better about it. Hope you feel focused again soon!
Very troubling to think that we're on a path that will make us even less compassionate and empathetic for one another
Screenshot of App Store Connect external group page, showing 2 builds submitted several weeks ago
Yeah, Iβm on my second submitted build and have setup an external group.
I contacted Apple to help with my first build almost a month ago and they said theyβd fast-track it with the review team, but nothing changed. At this point, Iβm not sure if TestFlight will be feasible with my timelineβ¦
Iβve been waiting on a TestFlight external review for over 3 weeks βΉοΈ. Granted, itβs my first app and review process, but still, very disappointingβ¦
