I am obsessed with the Brazilian porcupine Rico, so we drove down to Cincinatti for my birthday to meet him. 5 out of 5 stars.

It's good to know there is still one exit from the Matrix left.

This is Tellen. She went to work with her human today. The only agenda item on her calendar is dropping toys in the hallway until someone plays with her. 14/10

I'm essentially in freelance mode atm, so I have to be very intentional to drive progress, but in an agile environment, I only occasionally blocked days or a morning block. It is all very dependent on who drives commitments.
It varies, but presently I only plan tomorrows, meetings, and deadlines. Each day I note progress and challenges, and then EOD I list any next steps before timeblocking the next day for the most important items using my calendar. Using Obsidian for a lot of subtask lists and notes.
Gotcha. Thanks!
I am looking to make foss contributions. Did you wish any of the tools you used had better UI/UX? If so, which tools, please?
These are beautiful!
Honestly can we make it normal that all public employees take a whole month off all at the same time every year?
Mebe help us to appreciate how much we all depend on them.

We just launched a 16TB archive of every dataset that has been available on data.gov since November. This will be updated day by day as new datasets appear. It can be freely copied, and we're sharing the code behind it to help others make their own archives of data they depend on.

Whhhaaat?! I didn't know any social media made this a possibility
Is there some sort of hashtag to follow where we all pretend things are going to be OK, because I could really use that right now.
"Every company has a boring thing that generates revenue, and everyone else is tending goats." This quote may not hold up out of context for people who don't watch the show, but that statement is going to haunt me for a while...
On the one hand, its exciting entrepreneurs especially have such great options for getting started now. On the other hand, as a worker bee the 10,000 new game-changing tools that pop up every 5 minutes is beyond what my meat brain has time to keep up with.
I've just played around with Bubble.io, and I have to say I am both excited and terrified of the future...
Sometimes you have to just let yourself rest. This was one of those days.
It has come to my attention that Rico may not be as popular as he deserves and you may not all be acquianted with him. Here is Rico to cleanse your timeline ahead of a cold, long week: youtu.be/hSaKbCi6pBk?... (watch with audio)
I have a couple of these and really like them too. I bought one for a workshop and then bought another one for the kitchen.
An LA organizer I trust shared this General Resource Spreadsheet with me. It includes nonofficial shelters and other resources for people affected by the LA fires.
I see the light. I'm going to mine small data for a living and get back down to the things that really matter. Maybe I'll pull some 32 mb microdiscs from the closet so I can dream smaller. youtu.be/eDr6_cMtfdA?... Thanks, @krazam.bsky.social.
What is this UXR Guild you speak of?
This is why discovery research can save you more money than evaluative or summative research combined, but you'll never know it because that is how avoiding big mistakes entirely works.
A screenshot of enable vehicle motion cues set to automatic. There are tiny dots on the sides of the screen
Pro tip: if you are prone to motion sickness and own an iPhone, go into accessibility settings and enable vehicle motion cues. Itβll add dots to the sides of your screen when it detects youβre in a car.
Usually if Iβm on my phone in the car, Iβll feel motion sick but this actually worked for me.
