The Mara returns for another crack at snake-based possession, which turns out to be both more comprehensible and yet less daring than Kinda.
Tegan gets good stuff though, and Martin Clunes’ telly debut as a petulant space prince is worth the price of admission.

Backpackers Colin and Robin might be two of the worst performances I’ve ever seen. Strong start, #DoctorWho!
While it’s cool to have a certain Time Lord return for some body-hopping business, it’s all undeniably flimsy. But boy do they run around Amsterdam.

Peter Davison’s #DoctorWho is never my favourite area to visit, but in returning to him after so long, I do feel ready to give the beige boy another chance.

Instead there are people faking slow-mo, Sgt Benton as a big baby, and the infamous giant glowing budgerigar.

Delves into the dying days of colonialism with aplomb for #DoctorWho, but as with most six-parters, it frequently tests your patience too.
Also of note: Rick James bafflingly being dealt ‘cockney geezer’, and the acid trip lunacy of the Solonians’ final form.

Another season from #DoctorWho’s 70s heyday, another very respectible average score of 3/5.
