Promotional artwork for the VR game Hotel Infinity, featuring a logo that identifies it as a finalist for the 29th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards. The game title, "HOTEL Infinity," is displayed in large, bold red serif font across the center. A thin white horizontal line separates the two words. The background depicts a low-angle, perspective-heavy view of a dense, stylized architectural environment. The buildings are light gray or white with many dark rectangular windows, reminiscent of a classic grand hotel's exterior. A single window at the top right is brightly lit with a warm orange glow, contrasting with the otherwise cool and dark exterior.
This image displays five nominees for the "Immersive Reality Technical Achievement" DICE Award, organized in a table with promotional artwork for each project. Below the art, it lists the game titles, developing studios, and key team members for each entry. The games are: Ghost Town, Hotel Infinity, Marvel's Deadpool VR, Star Wars: Beyond Victory - A Mixed Reality Playset, and Unloop.

To my trans folks. I'm so sorry these assholes have decided to single you out for just trying to live your lives. It's a disgusting attack on a person's simple right to exist. I hope one day we bring them all to account - no tolerance for intolerance. Trans rights are human rights. Love you all.

Thank you, super interesting! I also want really good interop with 'boring' code, so I'm more enthusiastic for full langs made to be parallel. I hope some 'scalar' awkardness could be solved on a lib level, eg. thread level vs triton style tile level parallelism as invocation modes
We're working on a roomscale VR game called Hotel Infinity (hotelinfinityvr.com) that lets you explore a vast environment by physically walking.
The game is coming out for Meta Quest and PS VR2 on November 13, 2025
Here's a video explaining how we've designed the game: youtu.be/Yz862FOR_jQ?...
What a cutie!
Captured Rocco in 3D using an iPhone. Aligned on device in 5 seconds and processed through Brush - the most accessible way to create 3D splats!
Alignment can use some work, but Brush did a great job on the fur.
Great work @arthurperpixel.bsky.social !
github.com/release-plz/... :( also had this but was hoping it was fixed liked claimed here
For a tracking-ish bug see github.com/madsmtm/objc.... Will be a while before winit updates have landed everywhere. TBF it's possible to apply github.com/rust-windowi... for your own projects!

Whewwwwww sounds fun :D Esp with all the custom rules lol. Never thought about the possibility to hash incrementally
They did somehow make it as a power toys utility learn.microsoft.com/en-us/window... so maybe it is somehow considered something too complicated for mere mortals? No clue itβs maddening

Reminder that if corporations are people, the reverse can also be true. You can just pretend to be a corporation, and do practical jokes like donate to #blender fund or something.
Donβt out me like this :( :(

It feels like video games have become actively LESS like Third Spaces in the past 20 years, and more like eternal fucking shopping malls, JUST as physical space has.
This is monstrous, and it's such a waste.
