I'm checking to see what people say about what the demented buffoon says. Totally different energy.
A friend of ours was able to be a test subject for an mRNA vaccine for an aggressive form of breast cancer. Completely worked. It is one of the greatest miracles of science and like 40% of the country turned it into The Jab because they are mushheaded simpletons.
So, this means Tiny Hands didn't switch over to watch the trailer trash meth head show? Kid Rock is down bad.
Rather than bomb the island, maybe throw all ICE agents on the same island and give both sides weapons. Then we just never send food or resources of any kind, and poison any natural food and water sources. Then we watch them kill each other and wither away. That way it's got multi-season capability.
It actually makes me happy to think that when they do get served, there’s a greater than zero chance they will eat a worker’s piss, crap, or spit.
I'd be much more open to a nuanced discussion about message dilution and issue fatigue if they had at least one concise message and/or any message discipline at all.
Is it me, or does it seem like Tim Walz is the candidate Republicans are most afraid of in 2028?
We have to abolish and hold the thugs accountable. It can't be like the civil war where we just declare the Confederacy over and let the traitors go back to their hateful lives.
Hey @teamsters.bsky.social is this the kind of politician you're saying unions need to work with?
I'm sure his "injuries" will heal just as quickly as Trump's ear.
Even ice hates ICE.
I smell a Pauly Shore movie pitch…
It's a great time to reread Naomi Klein's "Shock Doctrine" and "Doppleganger"
Schumer is up to the challenge of being a Walmart Greeter.
"For just $70k, I'll come talk to your poors and convince them that neo-liberalism is actually better than social democracy and they should be ashamed for thinking different." - Ezra Klein, probably
And they teach their kids to hate, so Christian teachings sound "woke." I bet more young Republicans are leaving the flock than any other party at this point. I haven't looked at the studies though, it's just a hunch. That's a Presidential level of thought now, though, so I'm good.
The thing is, Trump only cares about himself, so we know that the reality is, when his "friends get hurt" they'll flip like Cirque du Soleil and he knows that means he'll be donezo.
Butterscotch squares are in a desperate battle with Dark Bordeaux and Dark Raspberry cream for my heart. They shouldn't fight, though because I love all Union made chocolates.
It just bothers me when anyone equates unions with for-profit corporations. The rules we operate under are wildly different and we are democratic organizations run by our members. Our PAC is actually our voice.
Not without the Senate, unfortunately. Can't trust Republicans to remove him even if there is a successful impeachment vote. Plus, ending Trump's presidency doesn't stop Project 2025, in fact, it might actually accelerate it. We have to burn all MAGA out and salt the fields they grew in.
I disagree with banning unions from politics. The "big money" from unions comes from voluntary contributions from individual members, it is completely trackable and transparent. At least that's how the IBEW PAC is structured.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure musicians have the right not to speak. If there's a contract stipulation, I'm sure there's an associated penalty for violating it, but it's probably not $1 million.
None of these people are particularly clever, thoughtful, or disciplined. It's the most ridiculous cabal of nincompoops ever assembled.
Let me guess, he'll be making an announcement in two weeks. As soon as he finishes negotiating the particulars of his super baptism.
They're going to need to do a hell of a lot more than just run on this platform because we don't trust words anymore. If people like Carville find centrists who try to act the part just to turn around and vote with MAGA to condemn socialism, we're going to see through it and Dems will keep losing.
No. American centrists are right-wing. We need true leftists to wrench the Overton window very far to the left before we can ever consider a centrist ticket again.
Medicare for All would save $450B a year.
Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.
Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.
It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.
It’s about priorities.
The reality is that successful organizing is mostly relationship building. It’s easier to build relationships if you’re open-minded and chill.
