If a movie villain would have said something like this, people would have pointed out the fact that the dialogue is too heavy-handed.

I'm numb to stupid data models after seeing dates stored in INT columns in the form YYYYMMDD. Devs will do anything besides reading the documentation and making sane decisions. Also, I always like pulling the FLOAT 0.2 + 0.1 = 0.3 comparison whenever I find financial data stored in FLOAT columns :))

prompt: why haven't you included Vlad Drumea on that list?
Reply: Vlad,

I focused on a mix of long‑standing community figures and those who publish frequent, in‑depth technical content. Vladβ€―Drumea is indeed a respected voice in the SQL Server spaceβ€”he runs the β€œSQL Server Central” blog, contributes to conference talks, and shares useful scripts and performance tips. He was simply omitted from the quick list I provided, not because his work is less valuable.

If you’d like, I can add him to the collection of recommended bloggers along with the others mentioned. Let me know if you’d like more details about his recent posts or any specific topics he covers.
