Alternative service options during the work on the Orange Line from February 28 - March 8 include a shuttle and the Commuter Rail.
🟠 Shuttle buses replace service between Back Bay and Forest Hills for signal work through March 8.
The Commuter Rail is fare-free between Forest Hills and South Station.

As of this morning, Boston's @streets.boston.gov teams have hauled 2,594 loads—or 43,666 cubic yards—of snow off of Boston's streets to snow farms.
We're expecting nearly 300 pieces of equipment on the roads tonight to continue the work. ❄️

Overnight snow removal will continue until 5 a.m. Once completed, PWD district crews will continue daytime skid-steer operations in neighborhoods across the city. We encourage anyone who has a snow-related issue to call 311.

After 17 inches of snow, 460-plus essential facilities staff worked early mornings and late nights to clear snow, salt walkways, and prepare our schools for a safe return from February Recess and this week's snowstorm.

Residents parked in participating discounted lots or garages have until 8 p.m. to move their cars before regular rates resume. You have 48 hours to use a space saver after the end of a declared snow emergency. Space savers are never allowed in Bay Village or the South End. Boston.gov/snow-cars
