Also important to mention is that, with manufacturers not always using their resources to create Linux compatible drivers, when they do, chances are very likely they'll (only) make them for Debian/Ubuntu based distros, so you should stick to them. That's what me and @almostabull.bsky.social did

While it's fair to not want to use a new program, when moving to Linux that is par for the course. Worst case scenario you can always dual boot, have windows for art and stuff and a Linux distro for daily use till you're comfortable to fully migrate
