The bug where roaming Pokemon using Roar deactivates them permanently, was patched. (The bug where they have poor IVs remains.)

The official bugfix was implemented differently from the community bugfix, and by comparing them, a new bug was found:

Pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen just being a thin wrapper around the ROM with no bells and whistles is... fine, but man, I'm spoiled by past rereleases and collections. Would've been nice to at least get a GBA filter or border or something.

At least we get the IV Judge feature when HOME support launches.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (PS5)

I promised I'd play this if it won GOTY, so I did. It's incredibly good, with a transcendent OST and fantastic story. It's got all the usual parrying BS (fake-outs & feints) but the game ends just before it hits a breaking point. Gustave is such a lovable goofball.

If this were the case, the game would be required to display an "in game purchases" label next to its PEGI rating at the point of sale (i.e. the Steam/eShop/etc page). But it does not.

Metroid Prime 3 Corruption (Wii U)

This game goes all-in on storytelling and dilutes the Metroidvania experience quite a lot. That's okay IMO; it means the 3 games all offer something different. I honestly love all the little motion gimmicks, they really enhance the immersion. Glad I played on Wii.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger (PS5)

Cyber Sleuth had such an incredible hook and strong audiovisual identity that could be felt in every aspect. Time Stranger doesn't quite have that, but it makes up for it in so many ways, and is overall a huge step up in quality. I can't wait to play the next one.

Choosing between the Pebble Time 2 and Pebble Round 2 is so difficult. I think PT2 is the one I want (longer battery life + replaceable) but seeing the PR2 kills me every time, it looks so slick.
