Took the day off work. Gonna play some Skyrim and relax 🥰 Mental health days are important too!

Day 01 - I am Saerih Pine. An adventurer. My name is Saerih (Say-ri) and I am the weakest Bosmer. At least, according to my father who surreptitiously banished me from the wandering tribe in order for my younger brother to become the new Hope of the Tribe known for the one who will be the next herd leader. He became such a cruel and heartless man after my mother passed. Our herd truly adopted the “survival of the fittest” mentality, figureheaded by the bull with the greatest aptitude for a war-axe anyone had ever seen. I can’t ever forgive him, but I don’t blame him. It is true that I am not suited for combat and the closest thing I have to strength is my aptitude for running away from danger whenever it chooses to find me. That was until my father, Taeruhn, dumped me at the gate of Solitude as he (and I quote) “didn’t want to hear my screams as I was torn limb from limb by a bear the moment I wandered from his sight”. Eurgh… at least he let me keep my armour. It doesn’t quite fit me but its warm and can take a hit.

I could only grumble for so long before my stomach outdoes me though and eventually got to my feet and after wracking my brain for a way to buy lunch, discovered that townsfolk of the capital HATED going into the forest. They did love the flowers that grew there though. This gives me an idea… THE IDEA WORKED!! The flower shop lady is elderly and struggling to find them and paid me quite handsomely for some buds I found walking around the inner walls. I now have an income source and she even gave me a bow and some arrows after I mentioned I intended to head out into the forests! So nice… I honestly don’t know what my Herd was thinking, saying cityfolk were untrustworthy and cruel. I also found a woodaxe lying beside the lumberyard and used it to cut up some firewood, apparently it was going to snow tonight and I set to work making a campfire and a bed of leaves to sleep on.

Saerih Pine, a snow haired Bosmer with proud antlers and her only possession: a bow from her Mother, standing in front of Solitude, the aptly named city she was dumped in front of by her father. It is bright and sunny, symbolic of her many adventures to come.

Still trying to think of a name for the adventure other than "Diary of a wimpy kit" or "Saerih Pine: Adventurer" 💚 Feel free to suggest one >.<
