The thing about Tottenham getting relegated (very potentially) is that it's easy to be hand-wavey about it. "Oh they'll be fine down there for a season."

I've long argued that it's clarity I'm after over sheer volume. The kids' bedrooms are above where we watch TV but I've tested it and things aren't too leaky.
I've never had any complaints from next door either, which is good! The room backs onto their backroom.

We watched Ready Player One last night and it sounded HUGE.
The film was more fun than I remembered too.
Well I ended up going for the cheaper and really well reviewed option: The Sony.
It sounds fantastic. Great clarity, engaging audio. Really pleased.
BUT... when things are quiet you can notice a very faint hum. The chassis seems to be vibrating slightly against the unit. It might be a dealbreaker.

Given that Xbox's strategy seems to be GamePass or bust, I'd be surprised if they went down that road, but who the flip knows with them these days!
Actually that's a good point re: multi-format, or more specifically the rise in cross-play. That's been a big boon in terms of mutliplayer numbers in some of the games I play.
