Whenever something you've worked hard on is shuttered by a decision maker above you, it really hurts. "What did _I_ do wrong? What didn't _we_ build well enough?" and the answer is usually: nothing. Someone above you just had a completely different rationale for this existing than you did.

I think so! It was Chris Hansen's idea, and together we made the first version. The current iteration was my final act in my final hours 😎, although I see the desktop client has gone through another large UI change since then. Not sure who else kept it going through that!
