Post op day 2: This better be worth it because right now it’s not. I still can’t sleep and today is the post anesthesia muscle aches/cramps. But there’s been no major gelatinous oozing so that’s an upside.

I just want to sleep. I’m at the lovely semi coagulated ooze discharge phase.

So I had septoplasty to repair my deviated septum along with turbinate reduction and rebuilding of valves. Let’s just say I believe I know now what it feels like to be hit with puck to the face. The pain meds are not doing shit and I’m mouth breathing which sucks more.

Had my first Guinness tonight. Yes, I’m 52 and I’m just now trying it. I am not a beer person, but this is an enjoyable adult beverage. The smoothness of it is what surprises me the most.

For months I’ve had some annoying lower GI issues. Today was my colonoscopy to help see what is wrong. Results were negative for colon cancer which was a relief. They did remove 3mm polyp for testing. Crohn’s disease has been ruled out. IBS is the most likely suspect ATM.

So maybe my big comeback to live streaming will be my Colonoscopy next week, that I just had to schedule. #buttcamera
