There was a scene somewhere in the WoT books where Rand is standing framed in a window looking out. I thought that made for a cool opening and began drafting #HotT from inspiration from that visual. Thus, Ra'tha was born and 120k words came to be.

His song glided through the ocean, burst from between the waves, fountained with joy, and rested upon the surface before diving deep to its completion. Music thrummed in his veins, whales moaning harmony in his ears. The world was whole long after the last note faded.

Welp, The #LibraroPrize has reached the point where the visibility boat has sailed. Only the books with established audiences that are trending will be catching the organic crowd. (Who mostly seem to run from the awful quality of the frontrunning translations.) Time to let that be and write #TSS.

There were several zarath’mai getting medical attention nearby and giving their handlers a very hard time. These lightest in hue were massive, sculpted creatures with muscles that rippled with every motion, ridden exclusively by the most accomplished of the mounted cavalry.

I've finished the first chapter of The Songbird Sovereign!

I'm calling it Teijibu (exposition) for now,.

For a draft, it feels particularly strong. I'm finding the symphonic structure very easy to put together compared to a regular novel format.
