Imagine the emotional impact on finding out you might be intersex from one of these tests. Will these women be supported? This has happened before and is one of the many reasons sex testing was stopped.

Reasons a cis women might have Y chromosomes:

- Twin brother
- Gestating a child with a Y chromosome
- Bone marrow transfusion from someone with a Y chromosome
- Being intersex (we know of XY women who have naturally conceived and given birth)

I just attended the yearly ASF Members meeting and made official my votes in the foundations business.

I’m so happy to be able to have a voice in how the foundation conducts itself and in turn how it impacts its projects, which are large swaths of the FOSS ecosystem.
