the shift register idea is cool though! and using the delayed gets to “cache” the values kinda as it goes down the chain is clever
ooooooh it’s not quite! but makes sense now, I see what you’re doing. I use the value nodes a lot basically as a gate—so if I have a constantly changing frequency (from an lfo or something), I can plug into a value node first and only let it pass through when it receives a “bop”
