Built a little app/cli to extend images to fit social media aspect ratios because I'm often hit by invalid aspect ratios.
old vs new and old vs new. Not the prettiest, but gets the job done for most cases.
About 1-3% clickthrough from personal site to @stacknaut.com and then if I apply another 1-3% conversion there⦠#buildinpublic

Just gonna do these every week to report on how it's going. I make a music visual software and my social media reach is terrible.

Not sure what to do, so I'm building what might be free tools #buildinpublic
No idea if anyone is still using it. I really liked it
Finally. I haven't been using it because it feelsl like it had been dead for years. I wonder what happened? It had clear utility.
Honestly, I just one strike and unwilling to waste more time.
I have had good luck with these launch platforms. They all offer decent backlinks:
producthunt .com
startupfa .me
fazier .com
uneed .best
peerpush .net
tinylaun .com
ramen .tools
firsto .co
microlaunch .net
launchigniter .com
Some are paid.

Everyone works on projects that uses images right? Add to AGENTS.md:
> Use `/Applications/ImageOptim.app/Contents/MacOS/ImageOptim <filenames>` to optimize images
Middle-management pretending to be exec.

> They're independent β you could do either or both, but there's no synergy that creates a third option. Would you like me to implement either or both?
Sounds like Opus has been influenced by corporate-ChatGPT
They'd call themselves Factory with a product called Droid just so they can say this
My inbox is full of emails selling me Reddit monitoring/lead generation services for @stacknaut.com π€·
Building itself is not technically better. If I'd wanted, I could use Docker images with Render or GH actions too. Of course Kamal 2 uses Docker by default so it's simpler. The thing is PaaS (and GH actions) charge for build time. eg. want to spend time pre-rendering? Watch your (RAM and time) usage
One of the reasons I like hosting with Hetzner + Kamal 2 now is I don't think about build minutes anymore #buildinpublic
Yes. Effortless migration kit offering.
Bit inconvenient for mentioning my own products, but should cut down spamming drastically "Creating posts with @mentions is not allowed for your access package. In replies to conversations you are part of, you may only @mention users who are already participants in the thread."
Probably. But i think it serves as a super simple migration tool to catch the people leaving ChatGPT

Wow
It feels quaint to build @stacknaut.com, a starter kit that uses AI including the docs, onboarding tools withβ¦AI #buildinpublic
Went from "yes" a few months ago to "take over". One of the most satisfying things to do during an interactive session with my coding agent. #buildinpublic
Wondering if I should call it "site" rather than "domain" in @myog.social #buildinpublic
