COLLAGE :: My friend Jocelyn hosted a New Years international collage party last month! A dozen of us, from multiple countries, hung out on Zoom, listening to music and ripping apart magazines to collage around a word we were thinking about for 2026. I ended up making two: “healing” and “bloom”.

The paper is whitened without chlorine and created with renewable energy, and offsets support making the whole process carbon neutral.
We also aimed to keep the footprint light, as the paper and printer are both certified by Forest Stewardship Council, which promotes responsible management of the world’s forests.
I’m so pleased with the gorgeous printing by Hemlock Printers, using their Indigo Press. We used Mohawk Superfine paper, one of the finest printing papers made today.

PINHOLE :: Made a #pinhole #camera using tin foil, then took it to the carnival last night. I had grit on my sensor, but I still enjoy how this camera constantly draws my attention to qualities of light.
WITNESSES ART SERIES :: There is a lot of playful unpredictability when working with handmade pigments like these, and I’m attracted to the textures that come out of them.
