But like, "difficulty" in those games came from the chore of training your Pokémon with xp share. Swapping out Pokémon to catch them up is so dumb lol
And you don't have to have it that way to have difficulty

Particularly side projects, I like to see the progress and see the idea fleshed out asap!

But it's killing my ability to actually get to it at all, so I think I want to just focus on what progress I make bit by bit and eventually seeing the result
