Nothing is better for this hot summer weather than a delicious palmito cocktail. It is vegan and instead of eating shrimp cocktail, also known as the sea cockraches, this version is fresh, delicious, and without cruelly.π

I have been vegan for a decade. I enjoy cooking and discovering new flavors and recipes, all vegan and plant-based. Some years ago, I published a recipe in Spanish with Latino vegan recipes. http://www.veganlatino.com/

βChristspiracyβ is an interesting film, not for everyone, but rather for those willing to learn about alternative views and those open to diverse perspectives.
The film shows views previously discussed regarding some passages of sacred books such as the Bible, where the idea of surviving out of the fruits of the earth instead of killing animals is mentioned or implied.
βChristspiracyβ is a documentary for those with open minds to explore diverse religious views beyond those taught to them or learned over the years, as well as opinions regarding the consumption of animals.
The quest takes the filmmakers to explore ancient scriptures, words lost in translation, and the historical understanding of religious figures, to examine the relationship between killing animals for human consumption and spirituality and religion.
Those questions take Anderson and Waters on a quest to different countries, asking academics, scholars, activists, yoguis, Buddhists, how several religions, such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and others, respond to the question about the spiritual ways to kill animals.
The documentary βChristspiracy,β directed by Kip Anderson (also the director of the documentary βWhat the Healthβ (2017) and Kameron Waters, explores the religious questions of whether there is a spiritual way to kill an animal and what Jesus would do regarding the killing of animals.
Learning from different religions that exist in the world opens our eyes to the fact that they share many commonalities, one of which is the pursuit of being a compassionate human being.
β¦But in recent years, more well-controlled studies have come out, overturning previous assumptions β showing that plant protein can be comparable for putting on muscle.β
βPlant-based foods also have all the essential amino acids, the building blocks of muscles, but have lower concentrations of some that are important for protein synthesisβ¦
Thank you!
Itβs been a learning journey, and Iβm grateful for everything itβs taught me.
But more than that, going vegan really opened my eyes to the unnecessary suffering animals endure. Itβs made me more aware, more compassionate, and more intentional about the choices I make every day.
What started as something I wanted to try changed my life in many ways. Iβve learned to cook with new ingredients, spices, and flavors I never wouldβve explored otherwise. Itβs been fun, creative, and eye-opening.
Today is my Veganniversary! Eleven years since I decided to eliminate all animal products from my food and lifestyle.
"El veganismo no es una secta; es una elecciΓ³n. Pero como todo en la vida, debes informarte antes de decidirte a seguirlo. Ese estilo de vida. Γbrete a aprender, explorar y desafiarte, y se abrirΓ‘ un nuevo mundo de sabores, conocimiento, salud y disfrute. De ti depende hacerlo."
"Veganism is not a cult; it is a choice. But as with everything in life, you must educate yourself before deciding to follow that lifestyle. Open yourself to learning, exploring, and challenging yourself, and a new world of flavors, knowledge, health, and enjoyment will open."
When people say that veganism is restrictive, I know they have tried it, and they donβt know what they are talking about because I know that it is the opposite. Being a carnivore is restrictive, not being vegan.
A few days ago, I remembered how I liked the asparagus Campbellβs soup and decided to do it from scratch. Today, I did it, and it is delicious, easy, quick to make, and homemade with much better ingredients.
I have discovered so many ingredients, vegetables, fruits, legumes, and more than I have ever known before, and I have incorporated them into my cooking.
I then liked alphabet pasta soup, Campbellβs Tomato, and asparagus soup. I have been vegan for over ten years, so I enjoy creating meals from scratch for me and my family.
As a child, I disliked eating meat, dairy, or anything from an animal. Back then, nobody in my family knew what veganism was, and they thought I was a prickly eater.
