I just got my car looked at too and they said the battery wasn’t in great shape but didn’t mention it could explode at any minute!! 🤯

BUT the guy at the parts store said that my old battery was starting to bulge, which meant it could’ve started my car on fire so actually thank goodness this all happened because my car starting on fire would be an actual nightmare. Burnt toast theory at work

Return the old battery and buy new hooks. Come back to my car and the stupid hooks are too short!!! So we go to another parts store to get longer hooks. It took FOUR trips of random things to change this damn car battery bc I left my hazards on for 30 min 😭 all while parked in a no parking zone

Of course we don’t have one on us so we call my sis in law to ask if we can borrow hers. So we drive to her place to get it. Then we change out the battery but in the process we broke a j hook that was holding my battery in place bc the pos was rusty and old, so we go back to the parts store to

We tried to jump start my car with my husbands but it wouldn’t work, and I knew that my battery was at the end of its life anyway so we went to a parts store to buy a new battery. We came back and realized that we needed a screwdriver to get a piece off my car that was covering the battery and

Ok so if anyone cares what happened to me today 😂 I parked my car in front of my apt building to unload some things and I was in a no parking zone so I turned my hazards on (bc you can park wherever you want when your hazards are on right) and I went to move my car and the battery fricken died!!!!

I’m already regretting my decision to not hire movers tomorrow 🙃
