Brooklyn is definitely referenced in “9th Wonder” which includes: “Brooklyn uptown,” “Myrtle Ave,” “A-train,” “from flatbush,” and “Crooklyn, New York.”
Their Wikipedia article says they meet in Philadelphia and moved to Brooklyn.
