That’s such a good perspective! Makes sense that something that you grew up w/ would be something that would have a profound impact. I can think of many games that I have similar feelings about, but not many shows.. but to be fair I’m much more inclined to play a video game than watch a show/movie

I dropped my Netflix sub like 6 mo. ago because I wasn’t using it, but I’m so curious about One Piece (+ have been for a LONG time) that I thiiiiiink I might need to reinstate it so I can watch S1/2 of the live action as a starting off point for me 👀

I immediately knew it was Chained Echoes!!!!! AAAA HAVE SO MUCH FUN 🤗

Excited to play this one (hopefully) soon! I felt the way about the same one—but tbh Mui really stole the show for me + that’s why I’m laser focused on in this next iteration 😂

Same!! It’s been nice because I feel like I know there’a definitive progress that I make every time I play, but also clearly defined rest points where I can stop and feel satisfied + not pressured to keep playing until burn out

I hear ya! I got into that loop pretty early on + now I’m back on track w/ the main story. I’ve been enjoying how each island is its own vignette—makes progressing through it easier as I’ve been taking it in chunks, which has allowed me to enjoy it over a longer period of time 😊
