We, the UK, took decades to pay back the debt to the US. I suspect the US also got preferential options to profit from rebuilding Europe too. It makes me sick when politicians keep saying we have a special relationship.
Generally in the UK if it is a connection train you have to run for that train.
Also the right to bear arms has proven to be useless because the argument for this is actually happening without a response.
@jeevunsandher.bsky.social I second this. I often have to use the road due to pavement parking and then get abuse from drivers. Vehicles still have to pull into the incoming lane.

Look! Your colleague is doing the right thing about pavement parking. Please help us in Leicestershire. www.andrewpakes.org.uk/survey/pavem...
Yeah, and we need to punish all the enablers of this lunatic.
The same point as any football club I suppose.
I had to call them constantly and tell them my rights to try and get my refund off them. It should simply be an online request and done. They stall at every step of the way. They also only release part of what they owe and you go through the whole process again for the rest.
My wife and I visited Frampton Marsh yesterday. It was absolutely amazing. I think these are the sort of things everyone needs to experience tbh.
Cleminson Street, Salford. Salford pioneered play streets, traffic-free from 8am till sunset (borrowed from New York) in the 1930s. Legislation followed: there were 700 in England and Wales in the 1950s, all but forgotten by the 1980s.
We had lots of warning that this would happen to give us the opportunity to strengthen ties with EU and remove/reduce the need for resources from US, but, you know it wasn't going to impact the wealthy. So why the rush. I think many of us predicted this a long time ago.
Ha, I need to disguise my bicycle as a horse then?
Has he got a chicken strapped to his arm?
Yes
Amazingly this was a flop on release. His follow up film North by Northwest which he fought against changes was his comeback film.

I am type 1 diabetic and have to apply for my driving licence every 3 years. I have an eye test every 2 years. No big deal.
Wow I never thought we would be approaching WW III against Russia and USA. History repeating itself. Wasn't WW II possible due to weak leadership allowing Hitler invade other countries, sending envoys trying to appease him? Will king Charles and William be detained on their visit?
So glad you said Cardiacs.
See it everywhere.
Here we go again. Trump has told the UK that if we want a UK-US tech deal, we need to buy chlorinated chicken from the US! π€’π How dare he try to impose poor food standards in Britain. Sign the petition to keep chlorine-washed chicken off our shelves: act.38degrees.org.uk/act/chlorine...
Starmer needs to recall the embassador and chuck out the US ambassador, then tell twat face to fuck off.
Tbh if I don't like it or stop liking a show I assume I am not the target audience. With ST it started well and was interesting, later series seemed a bit bloated, full of clichΓ©. I am an older person and can generally spot the plot. Many people like it though.
We use an alarm clock. One that slowly lights up and plays whatever sounds we choose.
So laughable tbh. Hey enjoy the freedom driving gives you.
I agree some people do need to carry 'stuff' although these vehicles are not great at carrying much stuff. Better off with the older models that can generally carry more.
How many people actually need a truck that size?
I don't play those games anymore. When you can only get some cool stuff by being part of a team really irks me. I just don't buy those games anymore.
