Maki is now chasing money and fame through unconventional violence bc all she wants is to be loved in all of her cuteness & cruelty and has now left for the company Stardom, Mizuki just finished a 260 day reign with the top title of TJPW, her 2nd time holding a title Maki never held once b4 she left
Those 2 are Maki Itoh (getting stomped) and Mizuki (the stomper). The former got fired from being idol and ended up a girlfailure comedy wrestler latching onto the talents of the kind wrestling prodigy that was the latter & they were a team for years before rivals. Now they're in separate companies

I run D&D damn near RAW and you'd watch me do it and go "How the fuck are they moving so fast, this is supposed to be slow and clunky?" and the answer is that i like interesting environments just as much as interesting powers and I spend hours studying singular Action Sequences from stuff for fun
Y'all don't know how good the drama of a well designed Tactical Action sequence can be, I'm so good at running them and they go by so quickly, but I've had friends gasp at the mere mention of a map before 😭😭
Tactical Action IS "Narrative Action" in the hands of someone who actually studies action
I will get to GM an AP where I can go Full Oleander on the action sequences one day, but as of right now that hasn't happened and it doesn't seem to be happening in the near future, as I am in a very "I'd prefer monologuing and debating for an hour over action for an hour" part of the space
It really is just money in the pocket for indies; so many folks *want the thing*, they just haven't heard of it, in my experience.
In Reddit in particular, self-promotion is heavily discouraged, so we rely heavily on fans and peers to bring up our work when relevant.
