one of the biggest problems we've faced since launching is that while it was very easy to establish ourselves here (games media sickos on bluesky), getting people outside of here to know who we are has been TOUGH. Stuff like this really helps!

Our tiny little website currently has the 4th-placed story on r/all, which is doing all kinds of weird and beautiful things to our monthly traffic (which doesn't normally operate at anywhere near that scale)

Amazing work from @nicolecarpenter.bsky.social, as always!

thats all ANY of you need or are here for.

so the fact the people actually building and running this site are such fucking weirdos is just so bleak. like we, normal humans who just wanna hang out, can't even have THIS

i love this website because i work alone on the other side of the world and its got the same strengths old twitter had (meeting and hanging out with peers id otherwise never get the chance to speak to) with almost none of the same weaknesses (nazis).

thats all i want and all i need!

also: the idea of people getting excited about tidbits of new video game console news in 2026 is insane to me. this isn't 2005. everything coming down the pipe now is a horror you just dont know the shape of yet.

hi if you work in indie games PR and you have a website's main email in your contacts as well as its individual writers, please dont send emails to both, you're only making an unmanageable deluge worse

our local govt has heritage listed the brick banks lol
