Absolutely agree on the changes to disability benefits - I want labour to do well but they keep seeming to raid areas of the finances that are particularly painful/unpopular to keep their tax promises - not good. I’d welcome a new deal type thing to address unemployment though.

Does anyone else get this? Small red patch right between my eyes. Normally happens when I’m a bit run down. I think it’s like my engine warning light. So odd.
And finally, jeeeez, web dev has really jumped the shark. All the frameworks are completely arcane.
The other thing that’s wild is just how much developer tooling around it there is. Coming from XR where there’s basically zero quality tools and platforms , it’s kinda staggering.
I’ve spent this week building a reasonably complex app with LLMs. It’s fascinating. It’s incredibly crude but also kinda magical. It changes the game when you are working with something non-deterministic that you need to cajole into doing what you want. A whole new way of thinking about UX.
This is unrelated to anything but when I was walking down the street in Manhattan years ago I overheard a woman on her phone. The snippet I heard was: “I was tryin to be nice…I said, I’ll cut you, ho” Totally immersive NYC experience.
