I sat down last night and wrote my first blog post in over 6 months. I'm not sure why there was such a big gap, but I just hadn't been able to find the motivation. But it felt good to write again, and I'm excited to publish the article next Monday!

I love programming because it allows me to solve difficult problems in creative ways. It's so satisfying to get to the end of the problem and see how far you got in just a couple hours.

Just found and fixed a bug that's been in our codebase for roughly 2 years that had never been caught by writing Cypress tests. Didn't have a ticket; only found it because of writing these tests.
