What are Democrats afraid will happen? There will be campaign ads of them saying, "Americans are being killed and the president is measuring golden curtains"? Not a real problem for them.

When you juxtapose how Republicans talked about Benghazi while the building was still in flames or those killed Abbey Gate with how Democrats are talking about Iran -- its really a remarkable difference.
Democrats are just not good at hammering on something that might be a Republican vulnerability. There seems to be a fear that if they go too hard, it'll blow back on them.
What about a laundromat that caters to busy working moms? Like sure, you could do your laundry at home. But you could bring it here and get it all done in under an hour and we've got work spaces and cocktails too.
For a period, my favorite bar in new orleans was a laundromat. You could do a load while you drank a beer and played some pool. Plus it made the bar smell nice.
On the road, I always look for the kind of gas station coffee that makes you think, "Yes, people with a meth habit frequent here."
Who gets a medal. All the surprise guests get medals.
Itβs kind of remarkable how little heβs said over two hours.
Trump referred to voting as a "privilege" rather than a right. It's generally "voting rights," not "voting privileges."
Trump mocking New York City for following federal law intended to prevent the hiring of people who lack proper visas or work status. Like truly mind boggling that they think theyβre owning the libs. For following the law.
Itβs the fresh Botox right?
Zero βillegal aliensβ in a year feels like a bold declaration that his own DOJ could prove to be untrue pretty quickly. Or does he mean they didnβt approve them? Cause then they wouldnβt be undocumented if they had been admitted.

I covered congress in the Obama years. And I am certain if any Obama official had acted liked this at a hearing, multiple republicans would have walked directly to the floor, not even stopping at their office, to file articles of impeachment. They would talk about it for weeks. Months.
El Paso has nearly 900,000 people. I canβt think of any other time government has done this to a city - not since the aftermath of Sept 11, 2001.
Not trying to alarm anyone but should people inside El Paso⦠leave?
Also, if you removing people who are working from their jobs, shouldn't that open more jobs and lower unemployment?
Just going to keep saying this over and over. Democrats should practice saying, "I understand why you voted for Trump, he told you he would fix the economy, but Trump lied to you about his plans for the economy. And here is what Democrats are going to do different." Say that over and over.
None of this requires compromising liberal positions. It requires talking to Trump voters like what many of them are, victims of lies and propaganda and then telling them what you would do differently.
They bought from a dishonest salesman. That doesn't make them bad. But you can do better.
And from there, you can literally pivot to anything: Trump lied to you about the economy, Epstein, immigration, foreign policy. You shouldn't believe what he says now about anything else. But I will be honest: Here is what I would do differently.
How about the Epstein files:
I know Trump told you that he was going to make the Epstein files public. But he lied to you and instead continues to cover them up. Here's what I'm going to do to hold powerful abusers to account.
Immigration:
I know you thought Trump was only going to go after the worst of the worst, but Trump lied to you about his plans to harm immigrants and now its costing people their lives. Here is what I will do to end the abuses of ICE, keep America secure and treat everyone with dignity and respect.
Another:
I know you thought Trump was going to get the U.S. out of foreign wars. But Trump lied to you about his foreign policy. Here is what I'm going to do to end the altercations that Trump continues to start and keep Americans safe.
This line works on nearly every policy and political point a Democrat wants to make.
I know you thought Trump was going to make the cost of living better. But Trump lied to you about wanting to fix the economy. Here's what I would do to fix the economy.
Democrats need to stop talking about Trump voters like they're idiots or evil. Are some? Sure. But that's not how you win elections.
Instead, sympathize with them: Trump lied to you. He lied to us. He lied to the American people. He keeps lying to the American people.
It's polls like this that make me think there is one line Democrats need to practice over and over again the next two years: "I understand why you voted for Trump, and I'm sorry he lied to you."
Democrats can win over soft Trump voters. It's apparent in every single poll. Here's how:
His sister has a cookbook empire!
The argument being made is that protestors simply being there is inherently violent. Which is not the case. And obviously counter to our nations tradition of peaceful protest.
I admit I donβt monitor propaganda like I used to. But I find it remarkable they havenβt even tried to pretend the protesters are violent. No fake broken windows. No made up riots. That used to be the playbook. Now just suggesting so during individual incidents where they escalated.
If you want to have a sense of what it really like on the ground, look at the local paper. And sometimes itβs the sports columnist who calls it like it is.
