Alright, this is a good reason to get the studio rebuilt and lay down some drum synth grooves.

Keep at it. Listening to whichever one I picked up last, I thought it'd be good to collaborate sometime. I'll send over some drum tracks for you to bring the bass lines.
Tyvm for picking up my last effort on Friday, btw.
Pretty pleased with my efforts on this so far. It passes the three headphone tests. Now to see how they perform on the various sets of speakers.
Always a challenge to master in the same room and on the same set of monitors as the tracks were originally produced.
Happy #bandcampfriday! HC005 is up for pre-order.

Enjoy your #bcfriday!
There's too much that I want and so little disposable income that I gave up years ago.
I stand by the fence and watch all these wonders pass by.
The track I produced for the Southsea Dub Club night last month is now available to download from Bandcamp - name your own price. simonheartfield.bandcamp.com/track/fragme...
I remember now why I put this one away in the cellar.
Each track is built on a field recording that got sliced, diced, shuffled and mangled. This often led to weird, noisy artifacts and a rude attitude.
Plenty of slowfast disorienting rhythms and moments of unsettling nausea.
Ambient, it is not.
Good news. Glad to hear that they're maintaining the quality level.
I've dusted off my mastering chain and I'm currently feeding in an album I finished just over 4 years ago.
That should probably be enough time to listen with objective ears and a neutral perspective.
Can't say my skills have improved in that duration but I have been brushing up on the theory.
I did wonder who you were on about.
The Happy Mondays Method.
It's nice and quiet back here...

What’s a line delivery you’ll never forget.
Zoomed in a cropped face from the previous shot showing Rob with his eyes closed and a tightly closed, slightly downturned mouth. It looks like he's trying to block out his surroundings and imagine his happy place. We can only imagine where that might be.
So excited.
Sell out.
I occasionally escaped to Chester for a night out but only really got going to gigs once I moved to Salford for uni. Rhyl didn't have much going on.
Yeah, that's how I remember it. Dead end industrial.
I had to look up the location of that venue. Wouldn't have guessed it being down there.
One for @ikjoyce.bsky.social and possibly @paulsdmcr.bsky.social seeing as you're both in the vicinity.
"Dormant vices turned on their devices. Now she's raising money for the sex appeal."
So many good SFA lyrics.
"The blimholes in my shellsuit
Joined into an absolute
And fell apart one day" always makes me laugh.
This was my first thought as well.

One for the ether.
A libation to the gods.
Happy Valentine’s Day from #Penge artist-in-residence (and occasional poet) Cosmo Chancer, who’d like us to point out that he wrote this poem last year before they had the fire at Poundland…
My daughter has a plan to get a pair of kittens to keep our 6yo cat company.
Pretty sure he'd hate it.
Very sweet.
