My latest for Dame on state capture. What weβre seeing under Trump isnβt ordinary graft or corruption; itβs a realignment of the political system to enable corruption. The consequences are far more insidious.

Remember that time I βJurassic Parkedβ a dragon and then threw in some Edith Piaf just to prove to my teenaged daughter that I could? Well now you can read that for free. π (Now with cool art by @thaisibir.bsky.social!)

Image Description: text reads "In 2024, only 2.4% of speaking characters in the Top 100 movies were depicted with a disability. The number "2.4%" is larger than the rest of the text.
It's book day! Cressida and her friends have finally discovered the source of their Headmaster's obsession, but can they stop it before he makes good on their school's ominous "change the world" motto? A magical school that isn't TERFY, teens standing up for good, and a middle finger to eugenics.
It's been a good month for my sci-fi scripts. My pilot, M-CAP2, won StoryPros' combined sci-fi/fantasy/horror category. And yesterday I found out my feature, THE COMMUNING ENGINE, is a quarterfinalist in the PAGE Awards (top 10% out of ~10k submissions), moving on to the next level in competition. π
A beautiful story.
as someone who has disabilities, I am really tired of AI proponents using the disability argument. It's demeaning to us, infantilizes us, and doesn't help
If they really wanted to help, they would build accessible cities and make existing ones more accessible. But they don't care about us
The pattern of speaking is nearly identical to my father-in-law who has Parkinson's.

Thanks!
It really was. Can't remember the last week I had this much good stuff happen. After many not so good weeks, it was like a cloud lifted. Thank you!
I was approached by 2 producers, found out a play I wrote was selected for a staged reading, a screenplay went to the next level in a contest, I got some great feedback on another, I got a 2nd interview for a role that sounds really fun, and a feature film I'm EP on is out for preorder on PVOD!
Sadly I was expecting this. Going after Wikipedia. Oh, the hypocrisy.

LMAO at the first 2 episodes of #TheStudio. So fun. I hope they share the pilot script sooner vs. later. Can't wait to read it.
I've been knee deep in revisions on 5 scripts the past 3 weeks, each for different reasons. It's been good mental exercise -- and more fun than I expected. Hopefully it'll be worth the time and effort. Nice to take a break today though -- such a perfect LA day outside. (Photo from my walk.)
