They didn't evacuate Americans before attacking Iran, and they have no plans to do so.
Americans in or near conflict zones were literally told they are "on their own".
Thanks. Mine. Something I've wanted to do for a while. And I'm slowly going to add features on regular basis.

As the U.S. President openly defies Supreme Court rulings, we have to ask: Has the clock run out on our institutional guardrails?

From Kavanaugh's dissent, where he would have allowed the tariffs because Trump is gonna do it anyway.
"The Court says nothing today about whether, and if so how, the Government should go about returning the billions of dollars that it has collected from importers. But that process is likely to be a βmess,β as was acknowledged at oral argument. "
Also, my overnight parking fee at the Hospital in the center of Town was β¬25.
And that is more expensive than my copay for the surgery.
What do Europeans think about the state of the U.S?
I just had minor surgery in Luxembourg City. The general culture here is friendly, but reserved.
Except this. Every doctor, nurse, and assistant who made small talk almost immediately spoke about how crazy the situation in the States is.
Another pedo protector who doesn't understand what free speech means. . .
They are now defending Epstein.
Lawyer submits motion with false citations, then, when caught, continues to submit AI generated documents with false citations.
The court sanctions him by entering judgment against his client.
Gotta check your work, and not triple down when caught making a mistake.
I'm told that Microsoft has pulled the DMCA takedown notice it sent to Valve for Allumeria.
Excellent news! Thanks so much to everyone who helped make this happen!
The devs game was flagged by some AI system (is that a thing) and could use a little help to get back onto Steam. Tracer.ai is apparently a company that uses AI to file DMCAs, which never ends well. Boosting this for my game dev friends to help out where they can!

Hello, @jebox.bsky.social . I'm helping Unomelon with the DMCA counter-notice.
It would be just tops if you could get that DMCA pulled.
Our counter-notice means the game is still down for two+ weeks.
If Microsoft pulls the DMCA takedown notice, Allumeria should be back promptly.
Many thanks π
Sure does sound an awful lot like the Sultan was sending videos of people being tortured to Epstein in exchange for videos of kids being abused.
How does that saying go? If I meet God in Heaven, He will need to beg MY forgiveness.
This behavior brought to you by the same people who yell "But if you don't like what's on the TV, just change the channel."
Soooo funny seeing all the MAGAts rag on the Bad Bunny halftime show like you aren't telling on yourself that you did all that grandstanding about boycotting and hosting your own show and then you went and watched Bad Bunny anyways smh.
The brand of Iced Coffee I'm drinking today comes from the German Milch-Union Hocheifel.
Aka, "Muh".
Today the Equal Access to Justice Act (EAJA) provides that the prevailing private party βin any civil action (other than cases sounding in tort)β brought by or against the United States is entitled to attorneysβ fees and costs if the Governmentβs position was not βsubstantially justifiedβ or βspecial circumstances make an award unjust.β 28 U.S.C. Β§ 2412(d)(1)(A). Adolph βLeeβ Michelin and Adewumi Abioye prevailed in habeas actions under 28 U.S.C. Β§ 2241 challenging their immigration detentions. The District Courts found the Governmentβs positions were not βsubstantially justifiedβ and awarded the detainees fees and costs. The main question these consolidated cases present is whether a petition for a writ of habeas corpus from immigration detention under Β§ 2241 is an EAJA βcivil action.β We answer yes and thus affirm.
3d Cir. holds that habeas corpus petitions challenging immigration detention are "civil actions," so prevailing noncitizens may be entitled to attorneys' fees and costs under the Equal Access to Justice Act.
Gonna be a loooooooooot of these.

Windows won't let me log in, with the correct pin, because of repeated shutdowns.
The shutdowns were from multiple updates being applied to a machine that hasn't been used in a year.
So now Microslop controls whether I am allowed to be productive, even when I have the right credentials.
Crazy.

I felt compelled by recent revelations to tell my story, of Dr. Kenneth Bernard Schade, a case involving the exploitation of young boys. Schade victimized members of the Singing Boys of Pennsylvania, served 10 years in prison, and was banned from his church.

Heads up. I know many of y'all are starting to feel the wave of resistance and, definitely, keep that up.
But please, I and many others still predict that it will get worse before it gets better, that the enemy will not go quietly, and you should plan for the worst, even while hoping for the best.
Of course, my question is rhetorical and satirical. The social contract is the agreement that creates civilization. If it is disregarded by the governing party, then all bets are off regarding the response of the governed.
Just as a thought experiment:
At what point do violations of the social contract rise to the level of repudiation of the contract? In other words, if the U.S. executive branch is sufficiently lawless, at what point does the law recognize that the Constitution has been so violated that it is void?
The latest release of the Epstein files only further confirms that the U.S. was taken over by rich pedophiles to protect rich pedophiles.
The worsening situation in America moved me to pick up a guitar again after 20 years.
This is my first protest song, "Crazy". I'll be releasing seven more original tracks over the next few weeks.
It's my first single and my first album.
I hope you enjoy.

So I went to add batteries to my shopping list.
Old school Google assistant added "9 volt batteries" to my shopping list.
Gemini added quantity 9 "volt batteries" to my shopping list.
You can't make me, I'm not going.
